Vintage bicycle tour through Chianti country

A couple of corageous english runners, two road racing bicycles from the 70's, a hilly road through the Chianti country.
Theese are the ingredients for a perfect day in the late spring in Tuscany.
Starting early morning from the hotel by car to get the starting point out of Florence, we can use all the day to ride the tuscan backcountry, with a stop at lunch time ti visit vineyards and wine cellars in one of the most famous farms in north Chianti.. and... of course reloading energy with tuscan food and red wine.

This is eroica, this is riding on dirty roads in Chianti country, one of the most beautiful experiences that you can try in Tuscany.
Like in the golden age of hero cyclists Bartali and Coppi, we ride this old roads with old bikes and vintage equipment.
No carbon frame, no power bars for snack, no technical cloths, but iron bike, wool shirt, bread with salame and wine, of course.
