Beautiful september in Florence

Not so hot as in August, cool breeze refreshing during the ride, September is probably one of the best months to ride Florence by bike.
This afternoon we rode the whole city, from Piazzale Michelangelo to San Miniato a Monte church, the highest point of the city, then diving to the center and finally resting in Cascine park, on the grass in the shadows of big oaks.

Summer Florence and chianti ride

Evening and early morning are the best moments to ride in Tuscany because of the cooler weather and less croud into the city center.
But one more reason is the sunset that you cam watch from Ponte Vecchio, with the sun diving into the arno river.
Handsome!

Another great ride in Florence

Early morning, the sun is rising and the weather is perfect for a ride in the city before it become to crowdy.
Today two guys from Atlanta are joining me to pedal through the history of Florence.
Talking about Florentine stories and about riding make us forget about the time, so we climb to the top of S. Maria a Monte church without effort.
Here we take a breath in the shadow of the church and enjoy the amazing landscape.
