Renaissance ring is a tour around Florence up and donw on hills close to the city.
Florence is placed on the bottom of a basin, with old tipical villages spotted on the hills like diamonds on a crown.
The complete renaissance ring is 126 km with more than 4000 m elevation, impossible to complete it in one day, but wonderful to ride it stage by stage...
Today we get the Campi-Vaglia stage.
First part of the trail is on easy plain enbankment, following Bisenzio river to Calenzano Alto and than the trail become a steep track to Sommaia and Monte Morello.
On the top of the mountain, about 700 m, we get the down hill trail to Vaglia.
